Wiring Right

Mindfulness

The first curriculum of Wiring Right is designed to give students mindfulness tools to use in and out of school. Complex ideas about the neuroscience behind mindfulness, and how that helps one to calm down are broken down and made comprehensible and fun! The six sessions  are broken up into two parts: mindfulness to relax, and mindfulness to focus. Lastly, in this program we teach how to create consistency with mindfulness practice through habits and neuroplasticity.

Rest & healing

sleep & health

In the second curriculum of Wiring Right, the science behind sleep health is taught in simple terms, and the act of creating a sleep routine through habit is taught.

care for others and yourself

compassion & empathy

In the third curriculum of Wiring Right, more mind habits are taught. We teach the skills of compassion and empathy, while still maintaining the idea of a growth mindset.

inner strength

resilience & affirmation

Finally, this last curriculum of Wiring Right teaches the skills of resilience and empowerment of oneself in order to be less affected by external factors.

Think your children might benefit from our program? Here are some questions you might have about it.

  • How is Wiring Right implemented?

While that Wiring Right the organization itself has not been implemented to the degree of Mobility and Stability so far, we still have been able to make an impact. We have adapted to the restrictions of curriculums in schools by implementing the ideas and habits of Wiring Right into yoga classes for kids and the younger volunteer program for Mobility and Stability. We hope to expand our reach for Wiring Right in the future, eventually seeing the curriculums in schools.

  • What is Wiring Right’s complete intent and mission?

The main idea of our program is implementing a growth mindset, and giving a student the tools for themselves to grow. We think of the collection of habits as a tool kit, ready to use whenever challenges come up in daily life.
