mobility & stability
Our mission
In this intergenerational sub-organization of Wiring Right, habit formation and neuroplasticity are now directed towards older adults. At Mobility and Stability, we strive to prevent frailty and increase movement in older adults by helping them to create a habit of daily exercise and breathing. The material of Mobility and Stability consists of quarterly pamphlets with postures that increase in strength and flexibility as levels progress. Mobility and Stability also offers weekly phone calls led by younger volunteers to provide a chance for social connection. This also provides an intergenerational aspect to our program. Optional group classes where students can meet and do the exercises together consist of the third part -- also increasing social connection. We hope to improve the mental and physical well-being of older adults by reducing the risk of injury and diminishing the effects of time - all by creating more mobility and stability.
Habit formation
Pamphlets
The 1st pillar of M&S are our exercises. We produce and distribute pamphlets containing daily exercises that target every aspect of the body.

intergenerational CALLS
Each week, participants will receive follow up communication from one of our younger volunteers to ensure participants feel supported, answer questions and to lend ongoing advice.
community
group classes
Highly recommended are our group classes. where one can do the exercises with others who are on the same mission, to improve their Mobility & Stability. These classes are led by our trained younger volunteers.
